Schuyler Colfax, Speaker of the House of Representatives. Report to accompany a previous report of J. Ross Browne, and discusses mines and mining in New Mexico, Colorado, Montana, Utah, Dakota, Canada, as well as for mines in the eastern area of the country. Eberstadt 127:449. 28 pp. Disbound government document. Residue from book binding remains along spine edge. Page edges browning and some very light foxing, but text is easily legible.
