With an introduction by Sir William Osler, a Canadian physician and of the the four founding professors of John Hopkins Hospital. Preface by Francis R. Packard, an English physician renowned in the field of medicine. In the original full navy cloth. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear and fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Library bookplate to the front pastedown. Library ink stamp to the reverse of the title page and the final page of text. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
