A nice Association copy: INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR WILLIAM WILLIS TO THE BOOK'S ILLUSTRATOR, LORENCE BJORKLUND, on the front free endpaper. A very sharp copy to boot of the 1955 stated 1st edition. Tight and VG+ (light offsetting at the pastedowns and endsheets) in a bright, price-intact, Near Fine dustjacket. Octavo, a number of crisp black-and-white photos and charts accompanying Lorence Bjorklund's sketches and dustjacket drawing.
