NOTE: The photos you can access with this listing are of the actual book you will be sent; please examine them closely as they provide the best indication of condition. With 275 pages. 1st Edition of the book, in the 2nd state dustjacket, without author photo on rear, but with 7 newspaper blurbs on the rear panel. Well-made book, bound in sturdy light beige boards with embossed gilt lettering on the spine. The book itself is very near flawless, shows at most only extremely brief, very occasional, faint signs of any use or age. The exterior binding looks almost as crisp and fresh as new, the pages show no age-toning. The book is exceptionally clean, bright, and stain-free, square and straight, firm and tight in its binding, no pages loose, torn, or missing. The hinges are sound and undamaged, the corners are sharp and unbumped. Internally Fine condition, all pages are clean and stain-free, and all text is crisp, sharp, and eminently legible. There is no writing, underlining, highlighting, or markings of any such kind in the book. The dustjacket is quite clean, still bright, and stain-free, NOT price-clipped ($2.75), with a crescent-shaped piece missing from the bottom front corner (please see photos), light, occasional wear at the edges with a couple of short, well-closed edge-tears. The jacket is now in a removable, clear mylar protective cover. Buy with confidence, full-time professional bookseller for 35 years, selling books online since 1995. B4. . Fine.
