New York: Clarke & Way, Inc, 1961. Softcover. Good. First edition thus, expanded edition including the verse play. Originally published in 1959, with just the 41 poems. Trade paperback. 71pp. Spine is worn and faded, with few tears with rough, clear tape mend on lower spine, early brown staining on top edge visible in upper margin of several leaves of text, else a very good copy. From the library of poet David Ignatow with his label affixed inside the front cover. Inscribed, and signed, by Edwin Honig, to David Ignatow's wife: "For Rose, this 'Gazabos' has the play in it! Edwin, East Hampton April/83," and Signed again, in full, in upper margin, "Edwin Honig" on the half-title page. Author's ink correction to one page of text adding nine words of dialogue, in ink holograph.
