The First UK printing of the wraps format published by Hamish Hamilton, London in 1979 (2 years after the hardback format had been released). The BOOK is in near Fine condition. Some light toning to the cover edges. Very few related markings to the covers. Inscribed by the author to the title page : 'For John, Raymond Briggs, 1998'. Profusely illustrated throughout. One of Briggs' iconic titles and scarce with such attributes. The book is protected in a removable Mylar archival cover. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.
Sinopse
Fungus the Bogeyman (1977) is a children's graphic novel by British artist Raymond Briggs. It follows one day in the life of the titular character, a working class Bogeyman with the mundane job of scaring human beings.
