Covering the life of the man as a soldier and war correspondent, including edited editions of The Malakand Field Force; The River War; 'London to Ladysmith' and 'Ian Hamilton's March.' Complete in its unclipped dust wrapper. Illustrated with maps and plans. In the original publisher's binding over paper covered boards. Externally excellent with only minor shelf wear and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. The dust wrapper is unclipped and excellent with minor shelf wear only. Internally, firmly bound. Minor handling mark to the fore edge, otherwise the pages are bright and clean. Illustrated with maps and plans. Fine

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
