Crudely rebacked with handwritten title-piece tapped onto new cloth. Front hinge cracked, with board coming away, remaining only loosely affixed at thread. Rear hinge cracked. Previous owner's book-plate laid in (John Wilhelm Rowntree), with ink signature and address. Edges browned. Ex-library, with minimal stamps and markings (Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre).
