Jacket lightly rubbed and edgeworn, with several tiny chips at corners. Attractive and tight first edition of this account of doing for Virgil's "Aeneid" for Heinrich Schliemann did for Homer's Troy -- locating the actual physical site, a crater west of Naples -- that served as the poet's inspiration.
