Frontispiece illustrated with colour plate of Magnolia Rustica Fl. Rubra with tissue facing. Throughout the book all the Plates are in very good condition. The tissue facing is lightly foxed. Illustrated with 18 beautiful colour chromolithographs of flowers with tissue facing. One Plate at page 166 was cleanly and carefully cut out. Then returned to page166. Text also illustrated with detailed black and white plates. Pages are in very good conditionand high quality paper was used when published.. Yellow endpapers.. Half bound with white vellum over white cloth. Gilt title on spine. Top edge gilt. The outside cover, spine and corners all soiled and lightly worn with corners lightly bumped. . Hard Cover. Good.
