Buhl of St. Louis granting him Vatican permission to photograph certain Vatican material with regard to the Church's interest in Greenland (probably never activated), dated 1906, coat of arms on the upper left of the letter, also tape stains which appear in several places in the book, 176pps. Buhl may have edited this book as he did on a couple other volumes in the Norrcena series of 13. Rear pastedown shows taped individual examples of ten famous bindings with text.
