Collated complete. This three volume collection features the artwork of the English engraver William Finden with commentary by William Brockedon, an English painter and writer. Finden, along with his brother, created this series of landscape and portrait illustrations based of the life and works on Lord Byron and was the first series the brothers created together. In a crushed morocco binding. Externally generally smart with marks to the boards, slight rubbing to the joints and light fading to the spines. Bookplate from the 'Estcourt library' to the front pastedowns with marks to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with lightly age toned pages to the extremities and the odd spot, heavier to the versos of the plates. Very Good
