In fair condition, suitable as a study copy. No dust jacket. Re-bound by library. 8vo 1/2 leather, red cloth binding, brown leather backstrip. Gilt lettering on backstrip. Bands on backstrip and clear tape across. Leather worn around edges of backstrip. Shelf wear and bumped corners. Top page edges darkened. Green floral patterned end papers. Hinges reinforced with brown cloth. Library record inside front cover. Foxing throughout and some age-toning. Tears in pages 15, 35, 37, 164 and 179 but remains readable. Text is clear.
