Printed on hand made paper. Wood engraving by Eric Fitch Daglish for frontispiece and eleven further similar full page illustrations. (Vellum boards are moderately brown spotted, bruised at spine sides and ends; ribbon marker fraying at end; internally neat, clean, bright and tight throughout). The book is in very good condition. 'A beautiful volume containing William Henry Hudson's recollections and reflections on his early, tranquil childhood in Argentina, recalling the wonders of nature and wild life that moulded his thinking.
