A special double issue of Bamboo Ridge, The Hawaii Writers' Quarterly, issues no. 34 and 35, Summer and Fall 1987. Signed and inscribed by Lum on the title page with an additional card bearing his stamp and "mahalo" Lum was born in Honolulu and attended Brown University, where he was active in the anti-Vietnam War movement. He dedicated this book to Frank Chin, the pioneering Asian American playwright.
