Hardcover Book in Very Good Condition with a Good Dust Jacket. Archival protective cover. From the New York author (1902-1971) of light verse that ranges from satire to irresponsible good humor to the slightly mad. Very clean and bright yellow cloth binding, gilt lettered on spine, with three blue bees. Very clean, slightly lighter yellowish small area on front near spine. Rough cut on fore edge and lower edge. Tight sewn binding, solid and square. Internals are very clean and unmarked, with delightful drawings by John Alcorn. Cream and brown/green jacket is clean, sunned, rubbed along fore edge; upper edge around spine scuffed. The eighty-one verses are vintage Nash. A genuine comic talent, a gift for a light touch in illuminating the inconsistencies and capriciousness of life. 5.5" x 7.75" tall. 171 pp. 1962, Little, Brown & Company Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
