Contains the most extensive discography produced, a chronology of his ancestral origins and life, unissued sessions, and an index in the rear. Jointly published by The Scarecrow Press and the Institute of Jazz Studies, Rutgers University. Original black cloth publisher's covers with gilt spine and cover lettering. This is a clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates. The dust jacket in similarly nice condition with no chips, tears, or markings. The dust jacket is now in a protective, removable, acetate cover. Please inquire if you would like more information.
