Boards a little faded at edges, gentle rounded at spine ends. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket a little rubbed at corners and spine ends and sunned over spine. Extracts of English prose which illustrate how substance and style are fused together to complete and bring out the meaning and interest of a particular passage.
