The text is illustrated with copious figures, formulae and line drawings. Red coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Plaintext dustwrapper with black and white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Title says it all. Minor softening of the back strip edges and rubbing of the book corners. Tanning and the occasional foxing spots of the text block edges with age toning of the pages. Offset tanning and tape residue marks to the end pages. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. The laminate of the dustwrapper has started to come away from the rest of the dustwrapper, particularly to the upper spine region and top left hand corner of the front panel. Some small tears to the lower text edge and even small tears to the top edge of the rear panel. Sunning and marking of the rear panel. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
