Smith & Elder. Hardback. Full leather binding decorated in gilt to both boards and spine including attractive decorative gilt panel to boards with gilt double ruled border. Signed binding by Sotheran London. Raised bands to spine with gilt decoration to compartments. Gilt to all edges. Marbled endpapers. Frontis portrait to volume I. In five volumes, complete. Includes Aurora Leigh in full to volume V. Leather is a little scuffed to spine ends and with some wear to hinges which remain tight. Faint white mark near head of volume II and the shadow of a dark stain across the front board of the same volume. Some uneven fading to colour between the volumes. An attractive clean, tight set. Good+ set . Hardback. 1883.
