Black and white photograph of author and a bust of his father to the rear fold over panel. The autobiography of the author whose father gave him the name Harry Reade and a birth date of November 17, 1927 – both of which are most certainly incorrect. If that be your lot in life you live with it, as Harry lived with his remarkable father during the hard years of the depression. A unique record of a way of life. Rubbing of the back strip edges and of the book corners. Very light age toning of the text block edges and pages. Some faint foxing to the top text block edge. A little rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels with complete fading of the back strip and to the 1st inch of the rear panel, closest to the back. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
