In the original green cloth, this is worn and the edges of the spine are very torn at the head. The binding is completely split internally before the title page - please see the attached images. Ink owners' names to the front end papers. Spotting throughout, heavily to the end papers and pages at start and finish. Small ink stains to pages xvi and 1. Binding splitting internally between pages 384 and 385. Spotting to the edges of the text block. Some page edges rough where they have been carelessly opened..
