Publisher's tan cloth with bordered color paste-on on the front with titles in two-color. 8vo; 9.5 inches tall; 280 pages; fully illustrated with intext and margin drawings in three-colors by Jane Allen Boyer. There are 10 pockets each with tissue doll patterns - all complete. First Edition, First Printing.
The bindings are tight and square. Text clean, light even toning. Moderate shelf handling wear with some fading of the cloth; the spine has darkened with pushed tips. A difficult book to locate and rarely in such nice condition.. Designed to capture the imagination of every little girl who will find the pleasures and rewards of sewing.
