London UK: The Folio Society, 2011. Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. 1st Folio Edition. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. " The Earth " was first published in 2004 in Britain by Harper Collins Publishers, and in the United states by Knopf Doubleday. The text for this Folio Edition is taken from the first British edition, with minor emendations and the inclusion of a new introduction. The boards are quarter bound in buckram with Modigliani paper sides, the text block is clean, square and tight. The slipcase is intact but has been damp at some stage in its life, with the paper cover roughed up in places. Book price includes 2nd class parcel post in UK only.
