Charles Scribner's Sons, 1922 Charles Scribner's Sons, 1922 160 pp with 44 plates, six in color, each protected by a tissue guard. Clean, tight and unmarked, printed on heavy laid stock. Front hinge tender but holding. Light brown buckram boards have a sillouette of a gold-stamped Tang horse on the front. The boards have a little rubbing to extremities, no loss of material. A sumptious book of the time with the first publication of recently unearthed ceramic finds. From the library of artist James Andrew DeNina. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Buckam.
