Boston: Little, Brown, and Company, 1936. First edition, first printing, with 1936 date on title page and Announced and Published dates of May and July 1936, respectively, on the copyright page. A sturdy fair to good unevenly faded copy without dustjacket. Spine and outer edges of covers faded to a bluish gray, bump to lower corner of rear cover, internally better with good hinges, sound text block, age-yellowed but clean pages with minor shallow creasing to the lower corners of many pages caused from whatever caused the bump in the rear cover, age-toned endpapers, personal bookplate with name crossed out inside front cover, no other names or markings.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
Sinopse
Walter D. Edmonds was a bestselling American author, a National Book Award winner, and recipient of the Newbery Medal. He published over 30 books in his lifetime, and was most popular for his historical novels. He died in 1998.
