New York: Cupples & Leon Co., 1911. Hardcover. Used - Good/No Jacket. Published 1911. Hardcover. No Jacket. Good Condition. Cream colored cloth covered boards. The title is in orange outlined in black with the author in black and there is an orange and black pictoral cover of a girl walking through the grass holing a tennis racket. There is almost no wear to the covers. Slight wear to the edges, the corners are bumped and the top and bottom of the spine are bent. There is an inspcription written in black ink on the front free endpaper and a previous owner's bookplate. Tanning from said bookplate has resulted on the opposite endpage. The hinge has cracked at pages 10 and 11 and the sewing can be seen. There is a full page black and white illustration of a young woman rowing a boat down a senic river as a frontispiece on glossy paper. This is followed by a full-title page, a page listing books by Margaret Penrose (of which this book is #6 on the top list) and a Table of Contents. 14 pages of advertisements are at the end of the book. 237 pages. Sm 8vo.
