Following its successful publication, the young Dennis Etchison had to convince the cashier at a small mart of his identity in order to purchase a copy of his own story. His literary contributions have earned him numerous awards over the years. He's novelized popular horror works, including titles like "Videodrome." There is a rumor going around that Etchison has never set any of his stories in England.
