Sobre este item

London: Faber and Faber, 1994-1996. First edition. Cloth. Very Good Indeed/Very Good. 9" by 5.5". None. Two first edition novels from Michael Dibdin's popular series featuring Italian detective Aurelio Zen. Dead Lagoon is signed by Dibdin to the title page. The Aurellio Zen series are Dibdin's best known works. They provide an insight into less visible aspects of Italian society at the turn of the twenty-first century. Aurelio Zen is an anti-hero, which adds to the irony and dark humour found in these books. There are eleven books in the series total. Dead Lagoon and Cosi Fan Tutti are the fourth and fifth books from this series, respectively. Two early novels from this mystery series. In the publisher's original cloth bindings. With unclipped dustwrappers. Externally, both volumes are very smart, with just some minor bumping to the head and tail of spine. Dustwrappers are generally smart, with rubbing to the spines at the head and tail and to the extremities. Light tidemark internally to the tail of spine to 'Dead Lagoon' dustwrapper. Internally, both volumes are firmly bound. Pages are slightly age toned to edges due to paper used. Small tidemark to the bottom edge of 'Dead Lagoon' not affecting the pages. Otherwise, pages to both volumes are clean. Very Good Indeed
