New York: Dodd, Mead & Company, 1904. One of Pemberton's less common titles. [Hubin, 322] This is a Good (Minus) copy of the First American Edition [stated "Published March, 1904"]. Dark blue cloth binding, with titling in turquoise on the front cover, along with a the representation of a steamship in orange and yellow. Titling on the spine in gilt. Clean text: 309 pages. Frontis illustaration and three others within. The is a probable REVIEW COPY, stamped in red as a "Sample Copy" on the Title Page. Rubbing around the margins; colours seem a bit dull; slight lean. The front hinge is cracked, but holding. There is a blacked-out signature on the Second Free Endpaper. A serviceable copy. In an archival plastic protector.. First American Edition.. Decorative Cloth. Very Good (Minus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
