Sobre este item
Random House Books for Young Readers, 1964-02-12. Hardcover. Excellent/Very Good. 8x5x1. Frederick T. Chapman. Vintage Landmark Cloth Cover Hardback Book with Dust Jacket. Book is in Excellent condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. Inside text appears to be unread and unused. No writing or markings in the book. Cloth covers are very nice. Dust Jacket is nice with some edge chipping and small missing pieces primarily at the top and bottom of the outside spine. Dust Jacket is price clipped and is now covered by a new clear mylar cover. Landmark Books and World Landmark Books are accurate, in-depth stories for young people in the 9-15 year old range. These living histories were written by award-winning authors or by men and women who experienced the events first hand. Written during the 1950's and 1960's and illustrated either with two-color drawings or clear photographs, the books are informative, enjoyable, and well worth reading and collecting. General Custer lives vividly in the pages of this book: on his father's farm, as a Cadet at West Point, as an officer at the Battle of Bull Run and, finally, as an Indian fighter in the West. It is an exciting true-to-life story of a head-strong fighter in a stirring period of American History. Great read!
