Jonathan Franzen is an American novelist and essayist. This novel, The Corrections, is the winner of the National Book Awards for the year 2001. Enid lambert has been caring for her husband, Alfred, who is losing his mind to Parkinson’s disease and her children have scattered and are running their own catastrophic lives.
