Sobre este item
New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1926. Hardcover. Small 8vo. Full blind-embossed leatherette. 227pp. Frontispiece, 7 full-page plates (as called for). Very good. Wear and small edge chips at head and tail of spine. A tight and attractive later printing (first published 1911) of this courtroom thriller by a pioneer of that genre, a New York County assistant district attorney (1875-1945) who authored many legal fictions and immortalized attorney Ephraim Tutt.
