Hand sewn two colour head and tail bands, top edge gilt, xxvi + 1100 pp. Frontis + 184 other b/w photo illustrations all as called for. First Edition 1937 in a signed fine binding by Best and Co. Good (Book- fading to leather and insect damage - probably wood lice (Pill Bugs) to bottom edges mainly to rear board.
