Maroon cloth boards with gold titles on black spine labels. Comprehensive detailed record of the Civil War by man who had been a drummer boy in the Union army. 130 engravings. Slipcase with beige wrap-around paper label. Spine label on volumes 1 and 3 have some rubbing and a couple of small rubs on boards. Box has small nick on top edge.
