Paris: Ch. & Cl. Ant. Jombert, 1771. ~Facing Latin/French text. Original mottled tan calf, raised bands, gilt decoration and 2 red gilt labels to each spine. Marbled endpapers and page edges. 1 ribbon per volume. Browning to edges of some prelims pages. Leather split (3 cm) to base of hinges of volume 1, but hinges sound. A little damage to a few page edges of volume 1. Small very old library bookplate to reverse half-title pages. Attractive set.. Hardback. Very Good+. xxiv, 588 + (2), 513 + (2), 488pp. Binding sound, text unmarked.

Books may be returned for a full refund of purchase price, including original shipping costs, if an item arrives misdescribed or damaged, provided we are notified within 30 days of receipt.

Particular interests include Roman Catholicism, Eastern Christianity, Liturgy, Inklings (notably C.S.Lewis, J.R.R.Tolkien), Christian Art, Patristics, Biblical Studies, Newman & the Oxford Movement.
