London, Studio Vista, 1971.. FIRST EDITION 1971, 4to, 305 x 220 mm, 12 x 8¾ inches, navy blue cloth gilt, index, 144 pages. Illustrated in colour and black and white throughout. An excellent general introduction to the subject well illustrated from the author's own collection. Slightly worn at head and tail of spine, 5 mm (¼") split at top of lower hinge and another at bottom of upper hinge, contents clean and bright, no inscriptions. A good plus copy in good plus DUSTWRAPPER (dw: not price clipped, frayed and slightly chipped at head of spine, tiny chip at tail of spine, slightly rubbed on top corners). Laid in the book are 4 typed letters signed by the author addressed to former bookseller Richard Gilbertson. MORE IMAGES ATTACHED TO THIS LISTING, ALL ZOOMABLE, FURTHER IMAGES ON REQUEST. POSTAGE AT COST. A heavy book which will require extra postage.
