New York: National Executive Committee of the Socialist Labor Party, 1900. First Edition. 12mo. Staple-bound pamphlet; printed buff wrappers; 22pp. Mild external wear; internally clean, tight and unmarked. A Very Good or better copy. Translation ("adapted for America") by Daniel De Leon (1852-1914) of Kautsky's influential Marxist treatise, extracted from the larger work "The Erfurt Programme," first published in German in 1892. De Leon's translation first appeared in 1894 and was reissued in a variety of formats over succeeding decades; this issue is in the People [sic] Library, a monthly periodical series issued by the SLP from 1899-1900.
