Single sheet folded to make four pages, illustrated on the front cover reproducing in color, "the celebrated Douglass Quilt... designed by Ben Irwin, architect, and executed during a period of eighteen months by a group of quilt makers, recent migrants to California from the Deep South, who formed in their new state the History Quilt Club of Marin City and Sausalito...". Issued as a Christmas greeting, prints an 11-line poem about Frederick Douglass. A fine copy. Uncommon publication. *OCLC lists a single holding (Delaware).
