Opening pages have smudges to edges. Tissue guards have light tanning. Pages have instances of light marks and smudges, with occasional instances of speckled foxing; overall, remain clean. Wonderful collection of engravings. Leather and gilt remains bright. A handsome copy. Cover pastedown has the ex-libris plate of the renowned book collector and president of The Evening Post, John Nolty.
