Sobre este item
Hong Kong: John Warner, 1977. Hardcover. Very Good/very good. This is a revised and edited edition of Thomson's 'Illustrations of China and its People', originally published in 1873. He spent ten years in the Far East and the original four volume set is considered by many to be the first photographic travelogue of any kind. His photographs are accompanied by his observations on China and its peoples in the last part of the 19th century. Very Good Hardback in a similar Dust Jacket. 160 pages. For further details, please see the scanned contents page. Weight: 0.9kg. Post free within Malaysia The dust jacket has few signs of wear but the spine has faded slightly. There are very faint shadows from the dust jacket flaps on the pages opposite them at the beginning and end of the book. The binding is tight and there is barely noticeable tanning throughout.
