Sobre este item

New York: Dodd, Mead & Company, 1978. First American Edition. Hardcover. 224p. A hardcover book in fine condition with a like dustjacket. Except for very lightly rubbed spine ends, the book's cover is in excellent condition, the text is clean, and the binding is tight. The dustjacket has a darkened spot on front where a price sticker once was, but otherwise, it is pristine. A study of the social circumstances in which Geoffrey Chaucer, the English medieval poet, lived. Contains many black and white photographs and a few color illustrations.
