Braxton, Director of the Center for International Programs, Southern University to Dr. Gadsden thanking her for her suggestions on the current HBCU brochure, recalling a past meeting at the NAFEO conference in Washington DC, and touching on their shared interest in Aidoo's work, Aidoo's plans to teach at Hamilton College in Clinton NY the following academic year, and Aidoo's regrets at missing a shared vacation trip due to illness. The second novel, ninth published work, and winner of the 1992 Commonwealth Writers' Prize for Best Book (Africa) by the respected playwright, poet, author, activist, and one-time Ghanaian Minister of Education.
