Folio, German language edition, pp. 179, 1 (note), gray cloth boards with black stamped lettering on spine and upper panel, dust jacket and frontispiece lithographs created by Marc Chagall at the Mourlot Freres studio in Paris, with original acetate wrapper. Volume 3 of the 6-volume Chagall lithograph catalogue raisonne. The German edition is scarce in any condition; especially so in fine quality. Condition of this book: Faint age-toning to jacket edges, a few small cracks in acetate wrapper, else fine. Size: Large Folio (bigger than A3). Text is in German. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
