Cassell & Co, London, 1933. Reprint. Hardcover (1/4 Cloth 3/4 Cloth). Very Good Condition/Good. Preface by revisor, explanations of method, some German books useful for reference and a list of abbreviations. 1/4 red coloured cloth covered back strip with gilt coloured titles. 3/4 black coloured cloth boards. Plaintext dustwrapper with pink coloured titles to the front panel and red coloured titles to the back strip. This book was first published in 1909 and this is a completely revised and considerably enlarged version of an English/German, German/English dictionary. Note:- the German is done in a Gothic font. Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges with a little rubbing of the book corners. Some flecking to the top edge of the front panel. There is a pink coloured splatter to the text block edge, and through the splatter you can see light age toning and the occasional foxing spots. Ageing of the end pages and there is a little splitting of the hinge between the title page and preface page. A little chipping of the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. Fading of the back strip with rubbing of the panels. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [3], IV - XII, then the book is independently paginated for both languages,. Text is in English / German.
