This history of the Canadian Pacific covers the early history from the original survey in the 1860's through the construction of the 1880's, the expansion of the network, the age of steam, and to the modern era. Many interesting photos (some are double-page), all captioned, accompany the text. Contains an index in the rear. Original black cloth publisher's covers with gilt spine lettering. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates. With the exception of a small snag at the spine, the dust jacket is in similarly nice condition with no chips, tears, or markings.; Color & B&W Photos & Illustrations; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 188 pages .
