The following paper is intended to provide information about the wartime achievments of Canada and her defence needs and objecties, as well as to outline organizational changes that are underway. The first part is largely taken from a statement by the Honourable Brooke Claxton, Minister of National Defence, in presenting the Department's Estimates to the House of Commons on July 9, 1947."
