Washington DC: Smithsonian Institution, 1996. Pamphlet. Six-panel exhibition catalog, 7.5x11 inches, very good. Includes interview with Kim and illustrated with reproductions of his paintings. Kim was born in La Jolla in 1961, and studied English Literature at Yale, before moving to Brooklyn. His most famous work, Synecdoche, was shown at the Whitney Biennial in 1993 and made comment on race and politics.
