Sobre este item

London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1935. First Edition. Very Good/Good. First printed, Janurary 1935," printed on copyright with no subsequent printings. In original jacket showing '7/6 net' price on spine and in clear protective sheet. General wear with light rubbing and chipping but with large chip missing from head of spine (previous owner photocopied what is there and laid it behind within the sheet to partially make up for the loss - loose). Blue cloth over boards with black lettering on front and spine. Boards somewhat faded, crease along spine, minor rubing and beginning of a fray at lower edges (very minor at present). Long and lower edges with some staining, but no impacts found inside. Interior is evenly toned, otherwise clean and clear. Advertisements are page numered, but they do not align with the page counts (unsure why). Bulldog Drummond is a unique character representing British nationalistic confidence and tendencies between the wars.

Pages: 311 (9 including advertisements)
Dimensions: 7¾ x 5½ x 1½  .

Sobre John and Tabitha's Kerriosity Bookshop

I love books. Always an eager reader, I started collecting Antiquarian books while a teenager and studying history. Flash forward a couple of decades and I am excited to open a new all-digital bookstore to continue my love of books, while bringing desired books to readers, collectors, and other sellers. From Post-Incunables to modern First Editions, I will be regularly adding new stock.

Please reach out with any questions on books, their condition, or additional photos as needed.
