New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1938. Hardcover. 286pp. Octavo [19.5 cm] Original green cloth, gilt stamped title on the spine. Good. Spine and edges sunned. Minor wear to extremities. There are roughly 6 small stains on the covers, and there are a couple of small stains on the bottom edge of the text block. Front and rear endsheets are heavily darkened. Two small ink stamps on the rear endsheet. Previous owner's name written on the front free endsheet. Internally very good. No dust jacket. Treverton 436, Hagemann 123, Recknagel 447, Howard 5c.
